After visiting the grave, Asif told reporters, “We firmly believe that the dreams of nearly 1,400 martyrs, including Shaheed Ishmam, who laid down their lives for democracy, will be realised through this election. Their long-cherished reforms can be fully implemented gradually through referendums and the verdict of the people.”

The leaders were delayed in reaching Chattogram due to a long traffic jam.
